Tucked away in a charming, wooden building, café Miyaji exudes a cozy, welcoming vibe that feels like a warm hug. I ordered their hot cocoa, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, velvety, and just the right amount of sweetness. My wife had their coffee, and she couldn’t stop raving about how smooth and perfectly balanced it was. The café is small and intimate, with soft lighting, and a peaceful ambiance that makes it easy to relax. Cafe Miyaji is a place to pause, connect, and appreciate the simple joys of life. If you’re visiting Miyajima Island, do yourself a favor and stop by to soak in the café’s serene charm.

Cute and cozy space with excellent service. My coffee float was okay. The ice cream was better than the coffee, but overall had a relaxing time out of the heat. They sell fantastic handmade jewelry that makes for perfect gifts. I bought a pair of earrings.

The sandwich was super fluffy and tasty! And the couple serving me so accommodating and polite. Cosy too under the snowy weather of Miyajima witha Christmas feeling. Man, that town is so ideal to unwind. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Coffee was also served in a lovely ceramic cup and plate with a cute itsukushima chocolate gate on top. Respect!

Incredible hole-in-the-wall type cafe with the most wholesome atmosphere and decoration, cutest English menu, and the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in Japan (I’ve been here for almost a year). They even do Torii gate latte art!!! I never review places, but loved this one so much I’m still in the cafe writing this right now. If you visit Miyajima, this is an absolutely gorgeous place to eat your lunch :)

A nice wonderful coffee house in a very busy area. The cappuccino and the cookies were amazing. Don’t miss it

I struggled with this review. While I really enjoyed my cappuccino, I was really disappointed in the cookies. They were packaged cookies and they tasted kind of stale. I have nothing against packaged cookies, but for ¥350 I would think they would at least serve some higher quality packaged cookies. I do recommend the cappuccino and one of my friends got the cocoa, and she really liked it. I wouldn’t waste money on the cookies though. There are better snacks on the island. One of my friends even said it would be so much better if they offered Momiji Manju instead of cookies. It would look especially nice with the tori gate art on the cappuccino and cocoa. I agree! Services was great though, and I would go back and get a cappuccino again. They only take cash.

Awesome coffee. Very nice and beautiful space. The cups were really beautiful. It is easy to feel how much love is put into the shop.

Matcha latte was excellent. Perfect amount of matcha and sweetness. Cozy setting. Lovely people.
